The ratio of living space to non-residential space is thus decisive for the classification of the building as residential or non-residential.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>When is an energy passport required?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The energy pass is part of every building application at<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New construction,<\/li>\n<li>Extension or transformation of an existing building<\/li>\n<li>Existing buildings and old buildings<\/li>\n<li>Change of ownership (sale, inheritance, donation, auction, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Change of tenant (new tenancy, leasing, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The energy pass is also mandatory for substantial renovations that do not require building permission.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=\"4.9.2\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\"][et_pb_column type=\"4_4\u2033 _builder_version=\"4.9.1\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\"][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.9.2\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\" animation_style=\"fade\"]<\/p>\n<p>A few exceptions are exempt from the Grand Ducal Regulation and thus also from the energy pass obligation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Agricultural buildings with low energy demand (heating &lt; 12\u00b0C and no air conditioning)<\/li>\n<li>Building with a large and permanent opening to the outside<\/li>\n<li>Temporarily constructed buildings (use &lt; 2 years),<\/li>\n<li>Places of worship and religious institutions<\/li>\n<li>independent non-residential buildings with an energy reference area of less than 50 m\u00b2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=\"1\u2033 _builder_version=\"4.9.1\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\" use_background_color_gradient=\"on\" background_color_gradient_start=\"#ffff\" background_color_gradient_end=\"#bfdfc6\u2033 background_color_gradient_start_position=\"50%\" background_color_gradient_end_position=\"50%\" custom_padding=\"0px||0px|false|false\"][et_pb_row _builder_version=\"4.9.1\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\"][et_pb_column type=\"4_4\u2033 _builder_version=\"4.9.1\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\"][et_pb_image src=\"https:\/\/myenergie.info-brihaye.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/batiment-commerce.png\" title_text=\"batiment-commerce\" align=\"centre\" _builder_version=\"4.9.2\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\" animation_style=\"zoom\"][\/et_pb_image][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=\"1\u2033 _builder_version=\"4.9.1\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\" background_color=\"#bfdfc6\u2033 custom_margin=\"||||false|false\" custom_padding=\"||||false|false\"][et_pb_row _builder_version=\"4.9.1\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\"][et_pb_column type=\"4_4\u2033 _builder_version=\"4.9.1\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\"][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.9.2\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\" animation_style=\"fade\"]<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"entry-title\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Energy pass = demand pass<\/h2>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=\"4.9.1\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\"][et_pb_column type=\"4_4\u2033 _builder_version=\"4.9.1\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\"][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.9.2\u2033 _module_preset=\"default\" animation_style=\"fade\"]<\/p>\n<p><strong>There are two procedures for calculating non-residential energy passports.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>For new buildings, the energy pass is issued on the basis of the calculated energy requirement.<\/li>\n<li>For all other non-residential buildings, the Energy Performance Certificate is drawn up on the basis of measured consumption values (this Energy Performance Certificate is also called the Consumption Passport).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Regardless of whether it is a consumption pass or a demand pass:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The requirements for non-residential buildings, according to which the verification of the building's energy performance is carried out, are checked.<\/li>\n<li>For the project, the engineer conducts the<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>energetic balance<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>in accordance with the Energy Saving Ordinance LuxEeb and issues the required energy certificates in accordance with LuxEeb.<\/li>\n<li>If the client also wishes to apply for<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>financial support<\/strong>the civil engineer will also issue the required energy certificates.<\/li>\n<li>The civil engineer shall provide the necessary evidence for summer thermal insulation for non-residential buildings.<strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>Room by room or zone by zone<\/strong>, also for the cooled zones of the office building.<\/li>\n<li>If prescribed, the primary energy demand for the cooling system and the cooling function of a ventilation and air-conditioning system is also balanced.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ideas for thermal component activation (concrete core activation)<\/strong>which use the building mass for temperature control.
